Story
UOW PR students and staff are supporting the riders who are cycling km after km for 12 hours straight to help cure childhood cancer! Many of us will hop on a bike to endure for a cure. We also have three riders of our own donning the lycra for the whole time.
Endure for a Cure is a unique closed-circuit, team endurance cycling challenge to raise money for kids who endure the challenge of cancer treatment.
All proceeds of the event go to Children’s Cancer Institute, the only independent medical research institute in Australia wholly dedicated to putting an end to childhood cancer. Every year more than 950 children and adolescents in Australia are diagnosed with cancer. These children endure painful treatment and lifelong side-effects. Imagine a world where all diagnosis of childhood cancer are cured - and there are no long-term effects.
Children's Cancer Institute can now cure 80% of cancers, so we're getting closer to the target of 100% success. So... it's not if, it's when.
Show your support by clicking the ‘Donate Now’ button to make a secure online donation. All donations over $2 are tax deductible. Help me reach my target and together we can cure childhood cancer. It’s not if. It’s when.
Thank you for your support!
